Oliver Tirtho Sarkar is a tenured Assistant Professor at the Department of Environment and Development Studies, United International University with research focus on environmental policy, ecosystem restoration, and socio-economic resilience. With five years of experience, he has spent three years teaching at the university level, which is complemented by research, consultancy, and development project management for both national and international organizations. Oliver has an MSS and a BSS degree in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka. His career objective is to advance environmental policies to promote equitable and sustainable environmental governance systems.
