
These minimum requirements apply to students seeking admission to the BSS (Hons.) in Environment and Development Studies at United International University.
Bangladeshi Students
- A minimum GPA of 2.5/2nd division/equivalent grade in SSC and HSC or equivalent public examinations. Students with GPA of 2.00 in any examination either SSC or HSC, however, must have a minimum GPA of 6.00 totalling GPA of both the examinations.
- The students, who are sons/daughters of freedom fighters, will be eligible for getting admission if they have a minimum GPA of 5.00 totaling the GPA of SSC and HSC Examinations.
- O-level students must have completed a minimum of 7 subjects, and A-level students must have completed 2 subjects. In both examinations, students must have an Average Grade Point of 4.00 (‘B’ Grade) in four subjects and 3.50 (‘C’ Grade) in 3 subjects.
- Acceptable score in UIU Admission Test.
- Admission Test is not required for GPA 5.00 holders in HSC/equivalent level of exams.
International Students
- Have successfully completed their higher secondary education (12 years of schooling)
- At least 50% marks or an equivalent grade of their own education system.
- O-level students must have completed a minimum of 7 subjects, and A-level students must have completed 2 subjects. In both examinations, students must have an Average Grade Point of 4.00 (‘B’ Grade) in four subjects and 3.50 (‘C’ Grade) in 3 subjects. If the applicant’s previous medium of instruction is not English, TOEFL/IELTS scores are required.
